In order to discern our fate we need to consider the criteria of imbalance. Our fates rest upon our happiness & also our conduct, the guilt of which is made manifest by our knowledge of wrong doing, so far as we are aware that our doings are selfish & harmful to others, either by neglect or by deliberate action.
A rich man raised in wealth is not made as happy as a poor man who encounters wealth, yet he is happier than a poor man having what he has always known, there is no anxiety of want. The damnation of the rich is to ignore those they meet who are desperate.
Conduct aside the happy will weep & the afflicted rejoice, either on Earth or in Heaven & Hell, if life expires without balance.
