Daniel 8 mentions the desolation that takes away the daily sacrifice. It says that the Dragon fought by Michael in Rev 12 (that casts stars to the ground from heaven) stands up to the prince of the host (Archangel Michael, commander of the Lord's host) & takes the daily sacrifice. So the people of a prince of the Dragon not Michael's people detonate the abomination of desolation, for the overspreading of them. The Ram & the Goat exist before this "little horn" so are not about WWIII, but WWII. There are six fallen Princes (Archangels) who could be responsible, whoops apocalypse suggests Charles. I don't think they know.
