Exist side by side & God needed to make both. Good can prevail followed by a backlash of evil or extended evil time, yet there is always an equal balance. In Israel God groomed the Jews for justice, fairness & community living which we call good. Outside the Philistines were sexually liberated & selfish. The captivity of Babylon followed corruption so that there was not purity, & when the Jews returned to Israel they were humbled & not habitually competitive, but forgiving & community spirited having stuck together as slaves to improve conditions.
It is unfortunate to admit that God is in control of the balance of good & evil because we are taught God is just. He is actually just, because affliction is compensated, sometimes following death, heaven. Fairness is another matter because the thing we wanted gets lost. God has no scripture for the wicked, only silly stories of their liking, like the ever changing Arthur legend. However God is behind everything.
The Path
Scriptures are given so that only moderate evil is likely compared to outsiders. A Christian suffers outsiders & gossip within, a neighbour suffers Eastenders & Coronation street.
The Game
God made men for great fun, conlicting interests to competition, speed technology, space craft, even evil deeds among evil men are enjoyable compared to opposing animals or the flight of birds. God has made vehicles of men & produced vehicles with them to extend enjoyment & productivity. God is in men & around.
Gratitude
God allows us to exist a while by the gift of life & is troubled by idealists who want better. He usually does not even speak, instead says go your way & compete for you own desires. Then he stealthily influences for his own pleasure. God is aloof quick & knowledgable, he does not owe us anything he says. He says follow the path for peace or do not, if you are able. For every kind & simple man must be a selfish & greedy man. One will suffer Emerdale & the other tedium. Their lives will have an equal amount of pleasure at the last. Hell needs to be avoided by moderation, Hell is a reality British Soap Opera.
