2. This is a back up tent, best half dug into an opposite facing bank. Keep nothing in it but pills water & a bag of flour. Tent poles removed from front housing (blast damage). Drape the hospital curtain over it, bury the edges, then release the poles, fold them underneath. Sprinkle dirt on top to discourage flame. Climb under the curtain through an open zip, shake the dirt off & connect the poles from inside. Sleep & trying to sleep for two weeks rationing requires four litres of water. If that's all you have third measure. Supplies buried beneath (cut ground sheet) are better. It is also better to shield it with your body than ingest it uncovered into your blood.
The third measure is making a run from the area with scant supplies, hopefully not too far to return for more. Radiation depletes from massive to serious in two days.
