Is cheap, bury large amounts of it please. I have never tried washing with soil & rinsing, but it sounds harsh. Using soap improves the quality of life of near females, don't run out.

Makes encampments pleasant. Use a plumpline & spirit level at open or civilian areas. A groundsheet above tents keeps rain off & heat, a stone in the centre as you are aware collects water. Rain on a tent depresses.
