I'm tempted to think of you pampered with bubbles & jets in a large bath tub or great luxury for hundreds of years, yet I know happiness looks like those things to those who do not have them & those that have do not consider them much. Rather than praise Jesus for suffering it is better to understand. You see forgiveness of God is not escape from purging. Purging with the love of God avoids critical states. We all need to be purged for iniquity because of the balance of all things. There is not a store of payment for the wanton repentant to go in peace.
Jesus took the infirmities of people upon himself it says, & suffered. First he was praised & called Lord with those signs which weighed heavy. Then he was purged & raised to life. So it is with all who owe something to God.
