The blood & bread of Christ are for the forgiveness of sins. You go to church & consider your way where all are present & humble before God. Hymns are sung to subdue evil thoughts & intentions & encourage faithfulness. Then you bow your heads & partake of the ceremony remembering how your tutor suffered to teach you.
It is a good time to consider & start again, especially at the dawn of a new day. There is no escape from counter balance for sins so the regular ceremony is only useful to those good hearted servants of God who do not stray far or for very long.
