The area of the Water Gate was located between there & the Garden Path Earthwork, also the Fish Gate which is the normal entrance from the A229 & the Sheep Gate at Nob between the Earthwork surrounds. Perimeter Houses had a private Doorway outwards, the Wall joining to them not surrounding.
