There are about 200bn Solar Systems in our Galaxy & a lot of Galaxies in the Universe. God likes advances in technology, but he does not like the attitude of men when they alter his creation to suit them, they become arrogant. He calls time at a point where man altered genetics, not machines, are compared to his products & called superior. A large tasty fruit can fall out of the ecosystem for animals, insects & plants & be called greater. God can make things taste better to us if he wants to. He likes machines, but inevitably they lead to altering of his own work.

I want to emulate Roman construction & imports with a priority only second to bullets, fuel & transport, in that order. Some things others will try to collect are of less use to us than the things which will last a very long time if we are clever enough not to imagine we can have another society where things are meant to break & be replaced or can be manufactured in the long term.
